Wafex places tremendous importance on being a responsible and committed corporate company and in 2008 partnered Cystic Fibrosis and developed “65 Roses” as a primary fundraiser. Since this time Wafex and Cystic Fibrosis have raised over $400,000.
Wafex has also developed a “Random Acts of Kindness” program that allows staff to take an active role in donating flowers to community groups and organisations in need of support and kindness during difficult times.
As a result of COVID 19 and the global pandemic, Wafex also created a “Happiness” campaign, giving away free flowers to front line workers such as health workers, retail workers and teachers. The campaign was about how flowers can create happiness and ease stress and anxiety during difficult times. The response was overwhelmingly positive!
